This project was inspired by Ryan Bodien, an incredible baller during the Funk-Mob era. A 2001 World Champions, Brewin' Bigga, (Franklin, PA) plate still displays on the 6'5 Trophy stashed in The Museum. "Bo The Barber" is currently dishing out fades in Oil City while still singeing nets on rare occasions and enjoying tasty beverages. His smooth jumper and competitive nature transitioned well into the corn hole realm too. You can catch him at some qualifiers on the circuit.
Anywho... it was his parched taste buds that led to this current Redhook project. The "Jack Sikma Edition" came to fruition while Big Silk City was working on a Redhook remake for Bodien. Big Silky liked the template so much, he borrowed the Seattle 1981 blueprint to freak a Funk-Mob ALXN ARENA Classic. The Jack Sikma Edition was an ode to 1981 as Sikma was named NBA All-Defensive 2nd Team the year Redhook opened business.
Fun Fact: Jack Sikma was also a stunt-double alias for Walt The Wizard in the Funk-Mob era. A Negative 43-Font Spacing was utilized when formulating the back neck tag, in Lieu of these drip-heads. Be sure to cop two shirts, in case Walt visits your crib and walks away with one. The bottle on this beauty was an actual silhouette of a Funk-Mob Classy Classic Coffee Stout taken directly from a Galaxy still shot of Boo X's Musuem fridge. The 9.2% (Class of '92) Whisky River Barrell Aged Series Stout had some pop, as it was brewed to perfection by the Petrucci Brothers. Yes, several layers to this project making it an all-around absolute certified "Classy Classic."
